It all started with this conversation! During one of our meetings, our CEO Mr. Amit Mahajan who lives in the USA was sharing how much he misses the alphonso mango during summers. For an Indian, the most loving thing about summer is mangoes and that too an alphonso mango. Living in the USA, it is really hard to get Alphonso mangoes until someone from India is bringing them for you.

So, he came up with the idea that why can't we export Alphonso mangoes to the USA. He quoted "We have years of experience in supply chain and logistics, we have great connections to alphonso mango farmers and we have a whole IT team to make an online portal, then what is stopping us to start this line of business". And we said let's do it!

Eventually, when this idea evolved, we came to know that we can actually help the locals and farmers of the Konkan region with this line of business. Our CEO and entire team believe in corporate social responsibilities. We slowly came to the picture that if we donated a small quotient of an order to help folks of the region where these mangoes are grown then we can help these locals to get a better education for their children and better resources, where we will actually be using tech. for good.

Mr. Mahajan said we should follow the 4 F's formula of "Fruit to Farmer to Foreign to Finance" or the 3 P's formula "People to Product to Profit", where these finance/profit will help the locals and we as citizens of India will step in to support locals.

Thus, we started O'mangoes to supply the exotic fruit alphonso mango in parts of USA and India, so that people especially who know and miss the taste of Alphonso mangoes can experience the exceptional taste and its impeccable aroma and the people who don't know, can actually experience the heavenly taste of Alphonso mangoes.
